- Content Data: Photos, menu items, outlet descriptions uploaded to the Platform
3.2 Guest/Customer Data
When you make a booking, we collect:
- Identity Data: Name, email address (optional), phone number
- Identification Data: MyKad/IC number (if required by the outlet)
- Address Data: Address details (if required by the outlet)
- Booking Data: Booking date, time slot, party size, special requests/notes
- Custom Fields: Any additional information requested by the outlet
- Payment Data: Transaction references (we do not store card details directly)

6.1 With Outlet Owners (Their Customer Data)
When you make a booking through an Outlet, your guest data (name, phone, email, booking details, and any custom fields) becomes the Outlet Owner's customer data. The Outlet Owner:
- Is the data controller for their customer data collected through their outlet
- Has full access to view, manage, and export their customer booking data
- Is responsible for how they use, store, and protect their customer data
- May use the data for their own business purposes (e.g., marketing, customer service, record-keeping)
- Must comply with applicable data protection laws in their jurisdiction
Tempah acts as a data processor, providing the platform and tools for Outlet Owners to manage their customer data. We do not control how Outlet Owners use their customer data outside of our Platform.
6.2 With Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers:
- Payment Gateways: SecurePay, CHIP for processing payments
- Email Services: For sending transactional emails
- Email Verification: Debounce for validating email addresses
- Cloud Hosting: For data storage and Platform operation
6.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
6.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred to the new owner.
